女誡扇綺譚

Do you know how ghosts perceiving the world? If you are an eternal ghost... Taking Inspiration from the fiction “Strange Tale of the Bridal Fan” by the Japanese writer Haruo Sato. This project uses a constantly changing room with moving walls to open up different times, spaces, and scenes to express the changing inner world and outer scenery. Breaking and expanding the framework of the original work, three sets of ghost-related situations vaguely echo each other to form the overall narrative: the woman who continues to wait, the writer who is swallowed by his inner world, and the dialogue in the doomsday. Using the images of fans and moths in the story as guides, the audience travels through these scenes, choosing the characters they want to possess, and through these perspectives and experiences, they finally realize that they are ghosts trapped in this room.
