VR體感劇院

VR FILM LAB is the first experimental VR theater in Taiwan opened in 2018. It is located in Pier-2 Art Center by Kaohsiung harbour. The theater consists of a VR360 cinema with 30 seats and 2 interactive zones. Operated by Kaohsiung Film Archive, VR FILM LAB plays an important role in education and promotion of VR/XR titles. Each year, the VR FILM LAB Theater curates 3-4 seasons of thematic programs. The VR FILM LAB also collaborates with local arts and culture industries, influencers, and interdisciplinary experts to explore concepts and issues presented in the immersive works, with the goal of reaching and building audiences, and building a resilient XR ecosystem in Taiwan.
