This edition features 3 titles that are from Taiwan or co-produced with Taiwan. Among them, the interactive film, Proof As If Proof Were Needed, is nominated for the competition section. 2 other outstanding works will be showcased in the XR Spotlight section: Address Unknown: Fukushima Now, and Just for You Trilogy, which combines Riverbed’s three award-winning 360VR films (All That Remains, Over the Rainbow, and A Simple Silence) into a single experience.

Innovation Awards recognize technological advancements in the creative field. This year, Theater of Future Puppetry from Chun-Cheng Hsu Lab, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, is nominated in the Student Innovation category.

As the special showcase of AI for GIGABYTE Technology, this section includes multimedia interactive installation, VS AI Street Fighting, by Taiwanese creators from Dimension Plus, as well as 4K 360 VR video production workflow co-developed with Youtuber Hugh Hou.

7 XR projects funded locally by the Ministry of Culture or TAICCA’s culture&tech funding program, are available for industry screening reservation.
