NewImages Festival is an international event dedicated to digital and immersive creation, from April 24th to 28th, 2024. Professional meetings between and with different industries and artistic disciplines, space for discussion to develop new ideas and collaborations, and supporting works in the process of production and distribution to ensure their visibility.

XR Competition
4 out of 15 selected artworks in the XR Competition are from Taiwan or co-produced with Taiwan. They will be showcased during the festival in Paris, France and compete for prizes.
The theme of this year is “Heritage”, may it be natural, historical, material, immaterial…
1 amongst 7 selected artworks is a Franco-Taiwanese co-production and will be showcased in Forum des halles for 5 days.
XR Development Market
It is a unique initiative in France which encourages and enables projects to find co-producers and future partners.
5 projects in development from Taiwan with diverse themes and formats are selected as part of the Market. They will be present in Paris!
It is the first market entirely dedicated to the distribution of immersive and interactive works. Within this framework, approximately 100 creators will present their projects and/or their catalog to future partners.
A bilateral residency program for immersive creation between France and Taiwan allowing creators to explore the local ecosystem and develop their project.
