Announcement of 2024 Villa Formose Immersive – France XR Prototyping Residency: Selected Project

2024 Innovative Content Grant for International Co-Funding and Co-Productions Program encourages international cooperation to grope for the contemporary development of narrative innovation or technological integration through transnational alliances so as to further promote the future possibilities of cultural content. The grant is open to creative content projects which are a co-funding or co-production between Taiwanese and international teams. Each selected project will receive up to NTD 5 million(approx USD 160,000/EUR 145,000).

As part of the Villa Formose Immersive program, the France XR Prototyping Residency will allow one Taiwanese creator to go to Paris between November and December 2024 for a period of 3 to 7 weeks (depending on the project) to develop the prototype of an immersive experience with the help of French artists and professionals.

TAICCA x Ars Electronica Art Thinking program is looking for sparkling, fresh and new project ideas. The goal is to show a prototype of the immersive experience, performance, artwork installation or something we cannot yet think about at the Ars Electronica Festival in September 4-8, 2024 and the significant cultural technology exhibition in Taiwan.
