Announcement of 2024 TAICCA Innovative Content Grant Selected Projects

2024 Innovative Content Grant for International Co-Funding and Co-Productions Program encourages international cooperation to grope for the contemporary development of narrative innovation or technological integration through transnational alliances so as to further promote the future possibilities of cultural content. The grant is open to creative content projects which are a co-funding or co-production between Taiwanese and international teams. Each selected project will receive up to NTD 5 million(approx USD 160,000/EUR 145,000).

2024 Innovative Content Grant for International Co-Funding and Co-Productions is now open for application

The Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) announced the recipients of the 2022 Immersive Content Grant for International Co-Funding or Co-Productions. Among 24 applications from Taiwan, Australia, France, the UK, and the USA, five were selected as recipients by seven international juries. The recipients will each receive NT $2.8 million or 3.5 million in production grants and are expected to complete their projects within one year.

Announcement of 2022 TAICCA Immersive Content Grant Selected Projects

The Immersive Content Grant welcomes creators to raise meaningful questions to the world; prompts the immersive content to constitute creative responses, explore innovative narratives, develop technology, or do integration. 

The grant is open to immersive content projects which are a co-funding or co-production between Taiwanese and international teams. Each selected project will receive up to USD120,000 (NTD 3.5 million). The open call will close on 15th June, 2022.

This year TAICCA received 27 applications from Taiwan, USA, and Sweden. Six projects were selected by nine esteemed jury members from Taiwan, Canada, France, USA, UK, and the Netherlands. Below please see the list of selected projects and the list of jury members.

As part of the Villa Formose Immersive program, the France XR Prototyping Residency will allow one Taiwanese creator to go to Paris between November and December 2024 for a period of 3 to 7 weeks (depending on the project) to develop the prototype of an immersive experience with the help of French artists and professionals.
